Islamic Pearls of Wisdom: A Collection of Wisdom and Proverbs

Islamic pearls of wisdom are the precious nuggets of wisdom embedded in the Qur’an and the hadith, or recorded sayings of the Prophet Muhammad. These Islamic pearls of wisdom can be used as an effective way to guide our everyday lives based on the teachings of Islam and other sources which complement them (like the Bible, Torah, and other holy books). Here is a collection of Islamic pearls of wisdom that can help us with everything from parenting to financial management to managing our anger toward others.

Parenting

Islamic pearls of wisdom are a collection of sayings, advice, and proverbs that have been passed down through the generations. They offer guidance on everything from parenting to marriage to business. Here are seven pieces of wisdom that can help you in your journey as a parent:

1. The best provision for a child is good character. -Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

2. Children are a trust from Allah, and they must be treated as such. -Ibn Qayyim

3. A father is responsible for the education of his children. -Ibn Abbas

Financial Management

One of the most important Islamic pearls of wisdom is on financial management. It is said that Money does not grow on trees. This means that we must be responsible with our finances and not spend more than we earn. Muslims are also taught to save for a rainy day and to give charity. Another proverb says The person who controls his tongue controls his whole body. This is important to remember when it comes to financial matters, as we should avoid gossip and speaking ill of others. Finally, it is wise to remember that God loves those who are patient. Patience is key when it comes to financial planning and managing our money. Sometimes we may face difficulties in life that can test our patience; but this only strengthens us if we can remain steadfast. In Islam, patience is one of the best qualities one can have. Some say that if you have one hundred other virtues, but no patience then you’re nothing in front of Allah (SWT). Islam teaches us to know what’s ours and what belongs to someone else; so before talking about someone else’s faults or misfortune, first ask yourself whether they could be your own faults or misfortunes too. So next time you face difficulty think back to these words: The person who controls his tongue controls his whole body.
